HCLC Owners, Matt and Carrie grew up in rural East County. Matt was raised in a historic house in Boring, Oregon. He has had a passion for farming since he was a young man. As a boy he worked as a farmhand for his father, and other local farmers. He grew up driving tractors, bulldozers, and anything in-between. He always took great pride in working and cultivating the land. Fixing fences, and tending livestock and nursery stock has a way of toughening up young farm boys. As a teenager he bucked hay for many local farmers, one of which is now a neighbor. Carrie grew up in Corbett, Oregon. The families of both her parents homesteaded the Corbett area and have been there for well over a hundred years.

FallOur home and main barn is located on 10 beautiful acres in the Corbett/Troutdale area. Adjacent to our barn, we have an additional 121+ acres which boasts beautiful pastures and miles of riding trails. Located above the Columbia River, the views are spectacular. Our family really enjoys the outdoors. Whether we are riding horses, four- wheelers or tractors, there is always fun to be had!

Many Corbett residents use HCLC to maintain their fields. We fertilize, over seed, cut and bale many local pastures every year. We also have local grass hay for sale. Our Farm Raised Beef Sales have branched all over the Portland Metro area, from Oregon City, OR, to Battle Ground, WA. Word-of-Mouth sales ensure that we never have an excess of beef.

We are just a short drive from downtown Troutdale, in between the Columbia River and the Sandy River. When coming from I-84, take the Lewis & Clark exit, and head East. Take a left on Woodard, and when you come to the stop sign take a left on Ogden Rd. In 0.7 miles turn Right onto Lampert Rd. HCLC is at the end of the dead-end road.

When coming from Gresham, head East on Stark Street and cross the Stark Street Bridge. Turn Right on the His- toric Columbia River Highway. In 0.6 miles turn Left onto Nielson Rd. Turn Left again on to Woodard Rd. When you come to the stop sign go straight onto Ogden Rd. In 0.7 miles turn Right onto Lampert Rd. HCLC is at the end of the dead-end road.
