We have 8+ cross fenced acres dedicated to pasture turnout for the horses that are housed in our facility. Adjacent to the barn, we have an additional 120+ acres which boasts beautiful pastures and miles of riding trails amongst the forested topography. Whether you are riding on the trails, or in the outdoor arena, the views of the Columbia River Gorge are spectacular.
Our indoor round pen is modest and always dry. The box stalls, as well as the aisles, are rubber matted and regularly cleaned. Automatic waterers ensure horses will always have clean, fresh water to drink. Basic feed (hay, & grain) is provided daily in their stall, and never fed in the pasture setting. We have a wash rack, secure tack rooms, and a heated restroom.
Proof of required vaccinations and worming is required before a new horse arrives at our facility. Visiting hours are from 10am-9pm. Helmets are recommended by HLC, and required for anyone 18 and under.
Our training program provides the early foundation that goes into making top notch performance horses. Whether you plan to compete or just want a reining horse handle on your ranch horse; the success comes when you have a horse that will do anything you ask with a soft resistance free neck.
Proper foundation coupled with a good work ethic is what makes a well-rounded solid using horse. In addition to receiving the correct foundation, we immediately put them to work. We ride fences and move cattle on our large summer range, check cows at midnight during calving season and put on countless miles in rough wilderness terrain. This type of work significantly compounds their knowledge and builds incredibly confident horses.
